Hand Drawing

Five hands occupy the picture plane two clasping firmly at the top, three reaching upward from below. One hand breaks free; another strains, clawed; a third extends a single pointed finger. The composition creates a hierarchy of desperation and connection: those who have found each other above, and those still grasping below. The drawing's tonal range from deep shadow to near-white highlights gives each hand its own physical presence and emotional weight.
